It’s beginning to look like the insanity of iPhone launch days may be a thing of the past this year, as the number of outlets stocking the iPhone 4 out of the gate is stacking up.
Gizmodo is reporting that RadioShack has officially confirmed they’ll be stocking Apple’s latest iPhone 4 when it rockets out of the gate on June 24. That will certainly come as good news to potential buyers in rural areas who can’t get to an Apple or AT&T store, let alone Best Buy, who will also be stocking the device at launch.
“YES! RadioShack will have #iPhone4 at launch. More info tomorrow,” the company announced from their corporate RadioShack Twitter account on Tuesday.
RadioShack hasn’t yet announced what kind of quantities they might be expecting of the iPhone 4; a Best Buy leak on Tuesday claims that each of their stores will be stocking “at least” 45 devices (30 minimum on the 32GB and 15 minimum on the 16GB model), according to Engadget.
We don’t know about you, but it certainly seems like standing in a long line to grab the latest iPhone is so… 2007 (or maybe 2008). Pre-order yours on June 15, or if you must, hit the road less traveled and get thyself to your local RadioShack on June 24.
UPDATE: RadioShack hit us up via Twitter to let us know that they will also be accepting pre-orders of the iPhone 4 along with everyone else starting next Tuesday, June 15. Nice!
