If you've yet to play the excellent iOS game, Rayman Jungle Run, now's a good time as ever to give Ubisoft's auto-runner a try. A just-released update adds an entirely new world to the game, offering 10 new playable levels.
The new world, called Potpourri, features new mechanics like the ability to slide across water, or punch a plant to reveal a platform.
Potpourri includes nine new levels, and the update also adds a new Land of the Livid Dead stage.
Rayman sidekick and series favorite Globox also makes an appearance. For $.99 you can add Globox as a playable character to Rayman Jungle Run, as well as unlock new costumes for Rayman himself.
When we reviewed Rayman Jungle Run a couple months ago, we lauded the game's great personality, eclectic soundtrack, and overall cartoonish feel.
Unfortunately, the total length of the game seemed a bit short. Maybe these 10 extra levels -- a free update, by the way -- are just enough to flesh out the experience.
Rayman Jungle Run is available in the App Store as a universal app for $2.99.
