If you frequently use PDF documents and an iPad in your daily life, you’ve likely discovered Readdle’s popular PDF Expert, which recently added the ability to edit PDF forms to its many tricks. This week, a new update extends the app’s power even further.
Readdle has announced the immediate availability of PDF Expert 2.2, a cutting edge iPad app for editing PDF forms and annotating PDF documents. With the latest update, the developer has added the ability to flatten documents containing signatures, filled forms data or annotations to protect them from being editing in another application.
“There are a few reasons that lawyers, attorneys or real estate agents might want to flatten a document: to prevent PDF file from editing data inside it, finalize the signature on the document and ensure that all annotations can be viewed with any PDF reader application,” Readdle announced in a press release. “The latest version of PDF Expert for iPad makes the flattening process flawless, taking just a single tap to flatten a PDF file before emailing it.”
"Finalized signature and field data are essential for lawyers and real estate agents. Preview summary of created annotations is a great way for students to share necessary information" explains Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "In PDF Expert 2.2 all these features migrated from the desktop to make the iPad a viable laptop substitute."
As always, PDF Expert for iPad 2.2 is a free update for existing owners and only $9.99 for new customers; the 8.1MB download is compatible with iOS 3.2 or later and available now.
