While everyone in the tech universe has fixed their gaze upon the goings on at CES this week, it's important to remember that other marvelous works are afoot as well. So, dear readers, let this serve as an official head's up: The Mac App Store is due to open for business sometime tomorrow.
While we've got a firm fix on the date, no one but the folks at Cupertino seems to know what time on January 6th the Mac App Store will be unleashed upon the world's consumers, and so far, Cupertino ain't talking. Introduced back in October at Apple's Back to the Mac Event, it's speculated by many pundits that the Mac App Store will no doubt make itself available sometime tomorrow morning, between 9:00 am and noon.
Fortunately, we won't have to wait too long to find out whether or not this prediction is on the money or not.

My impulse buying is not going to be good when this is live. It's bad enough on iTunes, I already have ideas as to what I want to purchase, but I know it's just the beginning.
