Adobe is holding a big Create Now event on Tuesday, but users will have to start speculating on what else the company might have up its sleeve now that Retina Display updates for Photoshop and Illustrator have been released.
Adobe's Photoshop.com Blog has announced the immediate availability of updates to Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6, finally bringing long-awaited Retina Display support to the Mac versions.
"We’re pleased to announce that an update for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator CS6 is now available for Creative Cloud members and Mac customers!" the brief blog post announced early Tuesday morning.
The Photoshop and Illustrator updates are available to all Creative Suite 6 users, regardless of whether they're using Creative Cloud, standalone or bundled copies of the software. The updates should pop up automatically in the Adobe Application Manager, but can be manually launched by choosing Help > Updates from either Photoshop or Illustrator.
A Retina Display update to Adobe Photoshop CS6 was first shown off during Apple's June keynote, which introduced the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
Adobe's online Create Now event starts at 10am PST (1pm EST) on Tuesday, and interested users can RSVP right from the company's website.
