Let’s see, where’s that WWDC 2011 checklist? Oh, here it is. Apple issues press release confirming Steve Jobs keynote. Check! Secret “iCloud” plans outed. Check! And, Apple logos start going up at Moscone West. Check!
MacRumors is reporting that the Apple logos are already starting to fly Tuesday night in San Francisco. Moscone West, which will host the annual Worldwide Developer Conference again this year as usual, is already being prepped for Monday’s kickoff with at least part of the familiar fruit logo now showing.
“This evening, Apple had started putting up Apple logos on Moscone West in preparation for WWDC 2011,” MacRumors notes. “We’ve been told they've given up for the night, leaving the logo half complete.”
MacRumor reader Tyler snapped the image of the incomplete Apple logos you see above, and others have started making the rounds as well via the usual sources (Twitter, Facebook, et al).
WWDC 2011 kicks off on Monday, June 6 with a keynote by Apple CEO Steve Jobs and other executives, who will be showing off the company’s next-generation software -- including Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, a preview of iOS 5 and the long-awaited iCloud.
