If you've spent any time amongst console gaming communities you may have heard the name Rooster Teeth tossed around once or twice. Or, more likely, you may have heard the name of their renowned comedy series, Red vs Blue, an ongoing web show based on the Halo games. Now those filmmakers have turned their eye to iOS gaming to spoof the Angry Birds phenomenon.
The trailer is a sort of "what if" scenario that wonders aloud what an Angry Birds movie produced by infamous film mogul Michael "Needs More Explosions" Bay might look like. It may also be a comment on some of the ridiculous film licenses that have been optioned for potential movie releases lately like classic games Missile Command and Asteroids.
Check out the video below and then go off to whatever holy place you can find to pray that this intentional abomination doesn't find its way into the hands of some franchise-hungry Hollywood executive. Because you know how anxious Rovio is to make Angry Birds into anything and everything they can.
