Silicon Alley Insider has learned from a "plugged-in industry executive" that Hulu is developing a Hulu app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Described at "badass" the app is expected to emerge in a few months.
The Hulu app will push you favorite videos over 3g and Wi-Fi. Silicon Alley Insider is expecting that the Hulu developers will deliver the best video app experience for the iPhone. That's a lot of pressure. We can imagine the developers reading that article and second guessing their Ui choices.
It's okay guys, just don't F it up. That's all we ask.
Silicon Alley Insider ponders why Apple and AT&T would allow such a bandwidth hog that could potentially hurt iTune store sales. Their answer, in what can only be described as using their logic-filled noodles is, "it'll sell iPhones."
Now if only Hulu and Boxee would play nice.
