Get out your running shoes, and tighten up that armband for your iPhone! The french iPhone and iPod Touch aficionado website, Blog iPhone, has published what they claim to be screenshots of the Nike+ application for the iPhone.
Combined with the iPhone 3G, the alleged Nike+ app will be able to do more than it has already done with the iPod Nano. The screenshots show a graphic of one’s running route and a progress bar screen as that route is run. With the constant internet connection, training logs and info will be able to be updated while out on the course. The screenshots also suggest some sort of use with the iPhone’s Google Maps capabilities, but perhaps that is just something to use if you get lost along the way.
While it is certain that there will be Nike+ iPhone alliance in the future, this may perhaps not be it. AppleInsider has already dismissed these screenshots as fakes. Either way, you still might want to get into training before the real deal gets released.
