Another day, another iPhone 5 rumor. In the emerging battle of Camp September Release vs. Camp October Release, rumors are continuing to trickle in, adding fuel to the debate and hope to the masses waiting for the next iPhone.
Taiwanese publication DigiTimes reports, via "industry sources", that Pegatron Technology landed orders to manufacture 10 million units of the iPhone 5 and have them ready to start shipping in September.
This would make Pegatron the second original design manufacturer of the iPhone 5. Pegatron is also cometing for iPad, MacBook Air, and other Apple product manufacturing orders, according to the report, although Foxconn is working hard to protect their status as sole manufacturer of the upcoming iPad 3.
