Rumors: Get In Some FaceTime with the Next Gen iPod Touch
We wanted to update you on the iPod touch rumors surfacing the globe. This morning, we caught wind that case manufacturers already knew something we didn't about the next generation music player, and now there are leaked shots of the purported device showing up on MacRumors.
The iPhone parts supplier apparently sent out photos of what they claim is the front LCD and bezel of the next generation iPod touch. The parts are clearly marked as an Apple part "Apple © 2010" and the stamp is clearly visibly in the full resolution image. Well, sigh.
We're eagerly awaiting the next iteration of iPod touches this fall, especially those of us who have gone the Android/Verizon route for cell service. The new iPod touch will likely have the much beloved front-facing camera, and it will be neat if the service pairs well with iPhone 4 users.
