Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden Arrives in App Store

Last week we took a sneak peak at Gameloft's latest high-profile iPhone experience, Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden. Now, after an some enigmatic pre-release hype, Sacred Odyssey is ready for public consumption. We won't know for sure until the review comes in, but this game looks very promising.
The only download currently available for Sacred Odyssey [iTunes Link] is completely free on the App Store, but this isn't a free game. The "first few steps on this epic adventure" are free. However, you'll quickly be asked to pay the full price of the game ($6.99) via an in-app purchase. The new method somewhat simplifies the process for users who want to download the demo or lite version of the app before buying the game. Instead of downloading two full apps separately, both are contained in the same download.
Gameloft has a history of pushing iPhone gaming to its limits both with gameplay and technology and Sacred Odyssey looks no different. The graphics are some of the best ever seen (compatible only with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd- and 4th-gen, and iPad) and the gameplay cribs from classic Legend of Zelda adventures, which is totally fine with us.
