Samsung has reportedly received an order for iPad displays. This rumor, reported by The Korean Times, comes on the heals of the rumor surrounding Apples ability to manufacture the much anticipated device.
According to the article, the deal is presumably worth $240 million for 3 million LCD iPad displays. Apple has long been known to use manufacturers like Samsung and Toshiba to supply parts such as displays, batteries, and memory chips.
The new iPad displays features Apple's new "IPS technology" that allows for 178-degree viewing angle.
This rumor comes on the heels of a previous rumor that Apple wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand of iPad hopefuls. If this rumor is true, however, it looks like Apple might be anticipating upwards of 3 million sales.
