If you've been feeling blue about the lack of Hulu Plus on your Apple TV, it's time to turn that frown upside down! Relief is just a reboot away, as Apple has quietly introduced the service to the roster of services offered by the little black box.
As first noted by MacRumors, Apple has quietly introduced a new service to the black Apple TV on Tuesday -- and it didn't even require a software update to install it.
Hulu Plus has arrived on the Apple TV, more than a month ahead of the fall television season. If you rush to your own Apple TV and are disappointed that it doesn't magically appear, fear not: You'll probably need to reboot your ATV, after which the magic green icon should appear positioned right next to Netflix.
The Hulu Plus icon even appeared on our second-generation Apple TV that's been hacked with aTVFlash, as you can see from the screenshot above which includes Media Player and Plex from that service.
So, that's it for us, folks… we're off to enjoy some Hulu Plus on the Apple TV and consider finally relegating our Roku box to another room of the house…
Update: Hulu themselves just confirmed the blessed event with a press release.
