The folks at MacPhun are planning an early Christmas gift for users of its popular Snapheal app for Mac, with a new update that brings an entirely redesigned UI and a host of beefed-up features.
MacPhun has granted MacLife.com an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming Snapheal 2.1, the latest version of the company's magical Mac app for removing objects from photos with ease.
The big news with version 2.1 is the application will now feature an entirely new user interface, designed from scratch for this new build. Judging from the screenshots provided to us and a brief YouTube video showing the app in action, Snapheal looks even easier to use than before.
There's also plenty going on under the hood as well, with new erasing algorithms for more accurate removal, as well as new color processing technology which will offer plenty of new creative options for users.
Last but not least, Snapheal 2.1 promises a number of major image retouch improvements as well as an enhanced crop option. All in all, the new version looks like a significant upgrade to the user-friendly image editing app.
So when can users can get their hands on it? MacPhun hopes to launch Snapheal 2.1 in two weeks, which means users will have plenty of time to install and get acquainted with the app before all of those holiday photos start filling up their hard drives. Meanwhile, the current version 2.0 is now on sale for only $7.99, a steep discount from the usual $19.99.
