With Snow Leopard set to pounce on us in September, Apple has begun to
tweak the user interface in the latest developer previews, making it
clear that the OS will see more than just changes under the hood. MacRumors reports on some of the changes found in the newest beta, released yesterday.
Among the changes to the user interface include: contextual dock menu now features a "heads-up display" style (white text on a grey background), the Finder now features a slider in the bottom right that controls the icon size, Exposé now works for multiple monitors. MacRumors also report that the system is more responsive during startup and shutdown and the new QuickTime X is built-in.
You can see screenshots from the new verion of Snow Leopard and details of the new features on the MacRumors website.
