The weekend is upon us, and what better way to wind down after a long week than by playing a unique physics puzzler? Car Toons! is a interesting iOS game from the folks at FDG, and right now you can download the app for the best price, ever: free.
The basic premise of Car Toons has you finding ways to complete a single-screen mission, getting the protagonist vehicle form point-a to point-b. You'll use physics like moving platforms, or even cars, to get your anthropomorphic emergency vehicle through the stage.
The game originally released back in August, but right now you can grab Car Toons for free on the App Store if you're playing on iPhone. Unfortunately, it's not a universal app, but the iPad version is also on sale for only 99-cents (regularly $2.99).
Car Toons actually contains a ton of content, with over 100 missions to complete. Plus, you'll find some variety in physics puzzles and missions, like scoring a soccer goal with a cartoon car. Maybe you can bend it like Buick. OK, that was a terrible joke and I apologize.
Obviously, there's some fairly immediate comparisons to Pixar's Cars property here, but whatever. It's a fun little game for the weekend.
