Stan Lee is best known as the father of Marvel comics. He created most of the mainstay superheroes of the Marvel brand including world famous icons like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the X-men, Iron Man, and Thor. In 2010, Marvel asked Stan Lee to try to strike gold again, and tasked him with the creation of a new generation of superheroes. One of those heroes, The Traveler, is now being featured in a new iOS action game.
The series just debuted this November, and is now being cross promoted with a new release in the App Store. The Traveler was first revealed at Comic Con last year, amongst a trio of Lee-created superheroes. The new character has the ability speed up, slow down, and otherwise travel through time.
The game features 12 levels of action and platformer gameplay as you speed up and slow down time to avoid obstacles, save civilians, and thwart the Split-Second Men. The levels are also said to include branching routes for multiple playthroughs. The Traveler [iTunes link] is available now, and currently costs $0.99 with a lite version available as well.
