With not one but two feature films now in development on the life of Steve Jobs, interest in the Apple co-founder continues unabated since his death last fall. If you'd rather watch the man himself speak, prepare to spend $3.99 on iTunes.
The Next Web is reporting that a lost Steve Jobs interview dating back to 1995 has finally resurfaced -- and on iTunes, of all places. Now available to rent for only $3.99 in the U.S. iTunes Store only, Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview presents more than hour of never-before-seen footage of the iconic CEO.
The 1995 interview with Jobs was initially shot as part of a series called Triumph of the Nerds, but journalist Robert Cringely used only 10 minutes of the interview at that time. Presumed lost, the additional footage was recently discovered, so filmmaker Paul Sen set about cleaning it up and restoring it for presentation.
"The interview is wide ranging across a variety of subjects like the famous Blue Box that Steve Wozniak and Jobs built early in their careers, the future of the personal computer and Jobs’ visions for his company NeXT, which he was running at the time," the report notes.
Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview is currently only available on the U.S. iTunes Store as a $3.99 rental.
