There are plenty of cloud storage services available, but how many of them offer truly unlimited storage and bandwidth? Stream Nation is one of the few, and its latest version 2.0 update is now better geared toward hosting all of your movies and TV shows.
Stream Nation announced Tuesday the launch of version 2.0 of its media storage service, which is primarily aimed at hosting video content, but is also capable of handling photos as well.
"Since our launch last July, we’ve heard you Loud and Clear and we’ve decided to start working on our new iteration," the company explained in a blog post. "We’ve decided to go back to square one and rethink our product to help you manage all your MEDIA not just your photos and videos."
With a fresh new iOS 7 look and feel for the mobile apps as well as the Stream Nation web portal, the changes include a new global timeline for viewing photos and videos automatically organized by date, while remaining completely independent from any collections the user has set up.
Speaking of collections, Stream Nation 2.0 now features dedicated sections for both Movies and TV Shows, including integration with The Movie Database and TVDb for adding artwork and keeping television episodes sorted by series and season.
Stream Nation 2.0 is now available as a free update from the App Store; the service offers free sign-up with up to 10GB of storage, with paid tiers starting at 100GB for only $4 per month and maxing out at a mere $19 per month for unlimited storage when billed annually.
