In true Street Fighter form, the expansion to the extremely popular iOS game Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter IV Volt, has received an update that will give players another two characters to choose from. Since its earliest days, the series has been renowned/reviled for re-releasing the game with incremental upgrades incessantly.
In case you missed Street Fighter IV Volt when it launched, this is essentially the same game as the original Street Fighter IV iOS port. However, with one major difference: Game Center online play (as well as three new characters.) It's a big addition (that, to be fair, most other games would have included as a free update) that greatly enhances the game.
This new update, however, is free and includes the new characters Sakura and Mokoto who Street Fighter fans will remember from the console version of SFIV. The original SFIV iOS game provided a steady stream of new characters post-release and it looks like Volt will follow suit. The new characters can greatly expand on the game's longevity as it provides a whole new fighting style to master.
The update is available free of charge for Street Fighter IV Volt which goes for $9.99.
