Tablet OS Has "A Good Bit Of New Sexy To It"
The rumors of the Apple tablet have been propagating like crazy these past few weeks. Now a rumor/something a random dude said/report has popped up about the OS that could be on the new device.
According to The Business Insider, an undisclosed person who has seen the rumored device is speaking out about the tablet/slate/Newton II operating system.
The mystery leaker says:
- It's "pretty" -- obviously.
- "The UI has a good bit of new sexy to it."
- "It's a big iPhone, but it's not just a big iPhone."
It has been rumored for some time that Apple might choose to make a device that's larger than the iPhone, but contains much of the same features and OS. Whether or not these rumors are true? We'll have to find out on January 26, or 27, or whenever.

I'm hoping for full OS X.
Apple Store Apps for the iPhone are nice, but I have an iPhone: What do I need a bigger iPhone for? OS X is crucial to the success of this device, otherwise it will just be an expensive toy, albeit a really nice looking toy. I predict they will integrate the App Store into OS X for this device.

Best guess is the Apple Tablet will look and feel more like the iPhone and not a Mac. I sure hope you'll be able to use the iPhone apps on the tablet. iHing @ iCrazee - Experience the Personal Madness of Owning an Apple Mac
