Gamers, you'll be pleased to know that Valve, creators of huge franchises such as Half-Life, Portal, Left 4 Dead, and Counter-Strike as well as technologies such as Steam and Source have now made Team Fortress 2 free to play. The announcement comes as part of the "Über Update."
The update, released today, is the largest content pack delivered to Team Fortress 2 since shipping in 2007.
New players will gain access to training and offline practice modes, which allow players to shine up their skills before tackling the Team Fortress 2 realm.
To celebrate the launch of the update, Valve has released "Meet the Medic," another in the line of Team Fortress 2 animated shorts.
