Thoroughly Mysterious WWDC Banners

In past conferences, Apple has been hush hush about the banners they hang and have cloaked and guarded them to prevent onlookers from gleaning details about new product releases. However, this time, they have not only left the main banner uncovered, but it is almost useless from a rumor perspective.

The new slogan is "One year later. Light-years ahead," a reference to the launch of the iTunes App Store one year ago. This corresponds to Apple's promise to feature the iPhone 3.0 firmware prominently in both the keynote and during the rest of the conference.

OR, you know, it could be a reference to a inverse time machine software that allows you to go into the future. We wouldn't put it past the Apple engineers. Let us know your theories in the comments.

avatarI HOPE NOT

I hope this does not mean the whole conference will be centered on the new iPhone and the 3.0 OS. As you have suggested in the rumors, it would be great to see much MORE than the iPhone.

avataritunes update with blu-ray

there was mention of blu-ray in the latest update of itunes. i know there is speculation on adding blu-ray to the macbooks, but has anyone thought about adding it to the apple tv? that would certainly boost sales if you had a player added to it...no?
