Yesterday, many skeptics came out of the woodworks with concerns that Jobs' exit from Apple could affect the quality of Apple's products and innovations in the future. Tim Cook, the man who has replaced Steve Jobs, has released an internal email to Apple employees to assure them that nothing is going to change.
In the email, exclusive to Ars Technica, Tim Cook expresses his excitement for "Apple's bright future" and adds that "we are really looking forward to Steve's ongoing guidance and inspiration as our chairman."
However, the most notable part of the email is where Cook insists that "Apple is not going to change." He adds that he cherishes Apple's "principles and values" and that the Apple culture is "in our DNA."
It's true that there's no need to worry. Cook has always been a part of the game and has contributed plenty to Apple's success as Chief Operating Officer. We can thank him for better prices and making deals with component suppliers to give Apple fair game in the market.
Cook's email should give Apple employees the confidence that they're in good hands. Heck, we believe it.
