Time Capsule Gains Storage Capacity, Gets Lower Entry Price
Time Capsule, the overgrown Airport Extreme with a hard drive, was silently updated this week. The new Time Capsule now features either a 1TB or a new 2TB hard drive. The 1TB device also had a price drop from $499 to only $299. The 2TB Time Capsule now takes the price of the old 1TB device at $499. Apple has discontinued the 500GB Time Capsule. You can now order the new models on the online Apple store.

This is good news, knew it would only be time before they upgraded to a lower entry price for the 1 TB drive...
