Nowadays there are a multitude of ways to play games on your iOS device. Between the iCade, Joypad app, and Fling joysticks, there's plenty of ways to play. Now, Namco has released a new way to shoot stuff in their Time Crisis series.
It's called iGunCon, and it's named after the special light-gun controller used in the console versions of Time Crisis. Though it's not what you might think. We immediately thought this was some sort of brilliant App that managed to use the iPhone as a light-gun. Not so, unfortunately.
It's a specialized controller used for this specific game that allows controls to be displayed on the second iPhone so that the screen isn't hogged by virtual buttons.
The app is free, so if you've got any inclination whatsoever to try this out on your iPhone and iPad you can do so free of charge. Right now it only works on Time Crisis games, but it works across a variety of platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac App Store).
