If you create any kind of visual media but you can’t come close to carrying a tune, you’re probably always in search of music to complement your video creations. Tunepresto is now looking for innovators like you to test a new online musical creation platform.
Formerly known as Abaltat, the Ireland-based Tunepresto has put out a call for “innovators and early adopters to share their thoughts” on an upcoming online music platform the company is cooking up in their labs. Building on their breakthrough Muse 2.0 software which allows users to create musical scores with little effort, Tunepresto is now planning to bring the technology to the cloud.
If you’re not familiar with Tunepresto or Muse, the software analyzes your video content and based on individual musical style selection of your choosing, the software creates an original, royalty-free background soundtrack. The company’s forthcoming service promises to make it even easier by creating music completely using your web browser -- no other software required.
“We are working hard on Tunepresto and want everything to be perfect -- even in beta -- which is why we are offering early adopters a sneak peak at its unique soundtrack creation technology,” explains Tunepresto CEO Siun Ni Raghallaigh. “Collective feedback generated from the survey will be used to better the current prototype and undoubtedly expedite its full-release.”
Founded in 2005, the company promises royalty-free music with no copyright infringements, and content can easily be shared across social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Your completed soundtrack can even be exported in a variety of audio formats or even published with your video and audio in one file. If you want to customize your music track even further, you can easily import it into GarageBand, Final Cut Pro or other programs.
To try out the Tunepresto beta today, head over to the website and enter your e-mail address. Select one of the trial video clips, set your musical preference, fill out a short questionnaire and you’re off and running. Feedback from the beta will be used to enhance the software prior to rolling out to the public -- and we know that your friends will be impressed with your newfound musical talents.
