Turn Your iPad into an iBook

Who says you can't recycle old technology by melding it with new technology? One person has modded an old iBook G3 clamshell with an iPad and Apple USB keyboard to make a world's first "iBookPad," and it doesn't look half bad either.
AppleNoir [Translation here] has posted pictures of the mod in which they replaced the screen of a clamshell iBook G3 with the iPad and a USB Camera Kit adapter. This allowed them to attach the smaller Apple USB keyboard to the iPad, replacing the old notebook keyboard.
The results? A pretty cool looking mod. Now if only they could get the trackpad to work.
