One popular iOS app which successfully made the leap to Mac recently has pushed out its first update, while a popular Mac app has announced its intentions to land on the iPhone soon.
Tapbots has released Tweetbot for Mac 1.0.1 to the Mac App Store on Wednesday, adding a trio of improvements while squashing some pesky bugs at the same time.
The 4.6MB download adds support for Apple's Reading List as a read later service, but only for OS X Mountain Lion users. The Tweetbot for Mac timeline also gets support for using the J and K keys to navigate up and down, while adding a Preferences option to disable streaming for those who don't want it.
Likewise, Tweetbot for Mac 1.0.1 improves keyboard support while in the people searcher, also fixing an issue where the timeline would scroll down to already read tweets, streaming on accounts with more than 1,500 followers and other reported issues.
While Tapbots continues to refine their iOS to Mac transition, the gang over at Flexibits is preparing to the exact opposite with their popular Fantastical calendar app, announcing that an iPhone version will be available soon.
"That’s right… for those of you who told us you wanted an iPhone version, the wait is almost over!" the company said on its blog Thursday. "We’ve been working hard the past few months on Fantastical for iPhone and we can’t wait to show it to you.The exact release date isn’t set yet, but it won’t be much longer."
If the excitement is too much for you, head over to the Flexibits website and enter your email address to be added to the company's mailing list so you'll be reminded when the iPhone edition is available.
