This is one of the coolest looking games we've seen announced for iOS in quite a long time. It's called Unstoppable Gorg, and it's designed as an homage to early 1950ish science fiction movies.
Unfortunately, the developer, Futuremark Games, has not revealed any details of how the game will actually play. So how do we know the game looks cool? You need only check out the trailer which is embedded below. It's sort of a genre mash-up of 50% 1940s war time movie theater news reel, and 50% early sci-fi flick. According to our mathematical calculations this adds up to 125% cool.
We do get a brief glimpse at what might just be Unstoppable Gorg's gameplay though. It features outposts on moons and other planets in the solar system surrounded by satellites and defenses that seem to be earning money for their home planet. Right now we're picturing a sort of orbital tower defense game, but who knows what the final product will look like. We'll be keeping an eye on this one though.
