This afternoon, we got a nice little surprise in our inboxes. Valve sent us over this video with hints as to what tomorrow's big release might be on Steam for Mac.
The video starts out a lot like Apple's 1984 "clone" commercial, and fades in with the revelation that Half-Life 2 will be available to download, purchase and play tomorrow. Gordon Freeman will now be available to fight off antlions with his gravity gun while navigating the perilous paths of the Black Mesa Research Facility.
Though there's no word on whether or not Valve will release the episodes following the second installment of Half-Life (the first appeared on the scene in 1998), this first person shooter should keep you busy and practicing until Valve releases some more of its popular titles. Come back tomorrow for our tips and tricks on playing through Half-Life 2.
This is the one I've been waiting for since Steam was released, now if my PC version I've had since 1998 allows me to download it for the Mac as they stated previously, without having to pay again for it, AND it works on my iMac, then PERFECT! CAN'T WAIT! Otherwise, I'll just remove Steam from my iMac and go on back to playing it in Winblows until they do!
Frackin' Captchas!!!
