Once in awhile, we like to shed some light on Verizon news just to show iPhone owners that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Verizon is more than likely going to ditch their very generous unlimited data plan, which currently tops out at a whopping 5GB. A leak from Engadget suggest that Verizon will likely begin tiering data plans come July 29.
The stay on track with the competition, Verizon is probably going to offer the same pricing scheme such as AT&T: $25 for 2GB and $15 for 200MB. This means that Verizon users will be paying more for data than previously before.
This will probably cause a bit of a stir among Verizon customers, but hopefully the company decides to allow veterans to the older data plan the choice to stick with their 5GB of data a month.
