Planning a visit to Japan this summer? Judging from a new video of Apple's latest store in Tokyo, you'll definitely want to plan a stop there, and we've got your first look at it right here.
Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook posted a tweet early Thursday morning to offer customers a preview look at the iPhone maker's latest retail store in Japan, which opens to the public on Friday, June 13.
"A stunning new Apple Store opens Friday in Tokyo. Congratulations to our amazing team there! いよいよこの日がやってきました," Cook's tweet reads. (According to Google Translate, that last part in Japanese says "This day finally came.")
In typical Apple style, the video sets the stage in Omotesando, Tokyo and shows employees setting up for business and stocking shelves in preparation for the big day. As you can see from the image above, the storefront offers floor-to-ceiling glass for an unobstructed view of the retail space from the sidewalk outside.
Can't book a flight to Japan this weekend? No worries, we'll bring all the magic to you from the comfort of your home, courtesy of the video Apple has posted to YouTube. Enjoy!
