Hey! You've got your turn-by-turn navigation in your phone call! Wait, your phone call is actually turn-by-turn navigation!
With iOS set to make the scene with consumers everywhere early next week, it was bound to happen sooner or later: videos and reveals of Apps running in the background on an iPhone have started cropping up to draw consumers in with their new-fangled feature allure.
In this case, zee German GPS device and App developer Navigon reveals the turn-by-turn navigation and multi-tasking goodness iOS users can look forward to when running their the latest update of their GPS navigation application on an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4.
From what we can see in the video, the transition between applications is very smooth, and the navigation software doesn't seem to miss a beat, although admittedly, the video does make listening to a phone call and recieving verbal cues from the app over the same speaker at the same time seem a tad confusing.
Road warriors, what's your opinion? will being able to multi-task while using turn-by-turn navigation be a boon or act as a distraction while driving?
