Apple is continuing to pimp the iPhone 4, even in the wake of last Friday’s wildly successful iPad 2 launch, with three new television commercials that just hit YouTube. The theme of the new spots? “If you don’t have an iPhone… well, you don’t have an iPhone.”
9to5Mac is reporting that Apple has pushed out three new television commercials for the iPhone 4, ditching the familiar catchphrase “There’s an app for that” in an effort to let potential customers know what they’re missing out on by not having an iPhone.
The first spot focus on the App Store, declaring that the unique shopping experience can only be found on Apple’s iconic handset. The narrator closes the spot by remarking, “If you don’t have an iPhone… well, you don’t have an iPhone.”
The second spot pushes iBooks, presumably in an effort to show how Apple’s own offering is better than Amazon Kindle or other competitors.
Last but not least, the final spot of the trio focuses on the iPod + iTunes experience, which is what got Apple here in the first place.
