Verizon is taking no prisoners with their second commercial for the iPhone 4 -- in addition to actually showing the handset this time, they’ve pulled out the big guns with the “Can you hear me now?” guy.
In the meantime, Verizon’s new commercial finally shows sexy shots of the iPhone 4 itself, closing with a cameo by their infamous “Can you hear me now?” actor, who picks up the device and speaks smugly into it: “Yes, I can hear you… now.”
There’s little doubt that the commercial is a clear shot across the bow at rival AT&T, who held the exclusive on the iPhone from its June, 2007 launch until this week. Check it out for yourself in the embedded YouTube video below!
This commercial is clever to say the least. All the hub-bub about the iPhone dropping calls when in reality it's the network. Perhaps with Verizon giving a little friendly competition will be just the thing AT&T needs to change.
Thats funny I was a long time verizon customer until i decided to get the iphone 4 through At&t i had more dropped calls through verizon than i ever had with At&t and verizons customer service blows chunks I was with verizon for 10 yrs and at first it was great and as time went by they treated me like crap like a contract never will i go back to verizon
