One of the biggest Game of The Year contenders on any platform, Telltale's Walking Dead iOS game has just received its third episode, Long Road Ahead. The next chapter in the zombie-infested adventure is available for in-app purchase, or right away if you purchased a season pass for all five episodes.
Telltale's iOS Walking Dead game is a mobile version of the developer's critically acclaimed adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comic book series.
Long Road Ahead finds protagonist Lee and and his young ward, Clementine, in the midst of the ongoing zombie outbreak. The relationships between these two characters -- and indeed the rest of the memorable cast -- are further solidified via another well-written episode.
Our review of the first episode of the iOS version of The Walking Dead awarded the game an awesome, 5-out-of-5 rating. The series just works on the iOS touch-screen, and if you're torn on which platform to play -- well, you can't go wrong with the intuitive controls and portability afforded by the new iPad.
And if you're already playing the Mac version of The Walking Dead, don't forget episode four, Around Every Corner, just recently went live. Seriously, each episode just keeps ratcheting up the tension. Here's hoping the fifth and final episode can continue the trend.
