More and more, the rumors surrounding the next wave of Apple products become truer and truer. Or, at least, we hope they are, because there are too many rumors to speak of and not enough truth oozing out from the seams. Allegedly, Apple is set to launch an upgraded 9.7-inch iPad with an ARM Cortex-A9 processor--an upgrade to the current processor contained in the recent iterations of the tablet device. Additionally, it is speculated that the device will have a 1024x768 IPS display panel.
And of course, the buck doesn't stop there. What kind of rumor round up would we have if we didn't continually harp on the fact that there may be some sort of CDMA iPhone in the works for diehard Verizon fans? Pegatron Technology is purportedly beginning mass production of the elusive CMDA-equipped iPhone in December and will supply these devices to Verizon Wireless in the United States, as well as China Telecom. Verizon is expected to make the announcement of the phones during January's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lastly, the rumor mill stops at a new Apple TV in the works, fueled by AMD's Fusion processor. The media computer will not include a hard drive and will implement the user interface of the iPhone and iPad's iOS software.
All three of these devices should be "mass produced" by December. You know, according to the rumors. But frankly, we'd love for all of these things to be true.
