Let’s face it: Aside from death and taxes, the other sure thing is that we’ve all got bills to pay. So why not do it in style? That’s where the just-released BillMinder 3 comes in, a substantial paid upgrade to the popular bill management app for the iPhone.
return7 has just released BillMinder 3, the latest edition of their popular BillMinder bill management app first released in 2008. After 25 updates to the original app, the team at return7 has started from the ground up, retooling the app with new graphics and adding the most-requested user features.
BillMinder 3 now syncs to a secure backup server, which means no matter what device you’re using, you’ll always have the same data available just by logging in. The optional sync service is free with the app purchase and is tied to a user’s e-mail address; syncing is automatic and happens each time the app is opened. The account is also handy for recovering a passcode if you forget it.
Local reminders will make sure you never miss an upcoming due date, and the new Reports feature shows on-the-go pie charts of where you stand financially. Also new to BillMinder 3 is AirPrint compatibility, allowing you to print those Reports from wherever you have access to a printer. One of the most requested features is the new Upcoming screen, which shows at a glance which bills are past due or about to be due in the days ahead.
Other features of the new BillMinder 3 include a calendar, passcode protection, per-bill adjustable alert periods, account history, auto-pay bills and multiple payments per bill. Users of the latest version of BillMinder 2 won’t have to re-enter all of their data thanks to a simple, quick upgrade option that ports your data right into BillMinder 3.
Because it’s such a massive upgrade, BillMinder 3 is a paid version for all users (including those upgrading from earlier versions) and will require a $1.99 purchase to install -- however, users of earlier versions should be thrilled with the huge number of changes and improvements with the new version, many of which you can get a peek at in the screenshots here.
BillMinder 3 is now available in the App Store for $1.99; the 3.6MB download is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch or iPad (though it’s not a universal app) and requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Good app for busy people, or for those who's bills that are due on different dates... but I call my creditors and tell them I get paid on a certain date and I would like to pay my bills by this date. And it works. Any one can do that... It is easy on you and your pay check. And after a while. I cancel credit cards too. Too many of them are just not Healthy for your credit.
