We finally got The Beatles on iTunes last month, which means we no longer have anything to bug Apple about -- right? Maybe you’ve forgotten about that elusive white iPhone 4, but if an Apple display is to be believed, the company will finally make good on that Spring 2011 promise.
9to5Mac is reporting that Apple’s last estimate of “Spring 2011” for the white iPhone 4 appears to be sticking -- so much so that the company has added at least a tentative commitment to its iPhone 4 displays at their retail stores.
If you happen to look closely at the fine print on the iPhone 4 display, you’ll notice that it now reads: “The white iPhone 4 will be available spring 2011.” The ivory handset has been delayed by Apple multiple times and rumors began to fly that the company had cancelled it altogether, but this new signage would seem to indicate that we’ll finally see the elusive device sometime between March and June next year.
Anyone out there in MacLife Land still holding their breath waiting for the white iPhone 4? By Spring of next year, it might make more sense for Apple to just release the iPhone 5 in white… but who are we to judge?
