Among the 10 new iOS 7 features demonstrated at WWDC 2013 are improvements to Siri, which Apple Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue came on stage to show off.
With a slick new look, Siri also features a new voice, along with a male counterpart and a number of international voices as well. In addition to adding new Siri queries such as "play last voicemail," "increase brightness" and more.
Siri is also further expanding into automobiles with iOS in the Car, a completely new iOS-based interface for automobiles, with 16 automakers expected to introduce the new feature in their 2014 models.
New services are also part of Siri in iOS 7, with Twitter and Wikipedia now integrated. Apps will now automatically update in the background, which received huge applause at the WWDC 2013 keynote.
Apple has also again revamped the built-in Music app, which Cue calls "the best music player we have ever done." Music now displays all purchased iCloud alongside your existing library, and integrate free, ad-supported iTunes Radio as widely rumored in recent months.
iOS 7 is available as a developer beta for iPhone today with an iPad beta coming soon, and will be released to the public this fall.
