Did you happen to come up just short in the online pre-order debacle? Or perhaps didn't want to weather the masses yesterday at the Apple Store, Best Buy and the like? Well apparently if you're still without iPhone 4, Radio Shack could very well have the hook up for you -- as soon as this weekend even, according to MacNN.
Radio Shack did indeed launch the handset yesterday, but apparently it was with a decidedly low inventory, which would wind up leaving even people who had placed pre-orders stranded without a device in various cases.
New shipments are to arrive perhaps as early as this weekend, according to Radio Shack, and inventories will continue to be refilled throughout July.
Due to what's being deemed as a disappointing launch, Radio Shack is planning on extending various promotions by a month. Up until July 25th, people who are buying an iPhone 4 will net a $20 accessory credit, and eligibility for the Trade & Save program; through the latter, people will be able to trade in their iPhone 3G units for $100 in credit or if you're trading in your 3GS, you can grab $200 in credit. The company will also continue to make iPhone 4 accessory bundles available as well.
