Gamevil announced today that the third installment in their highly lauded Zenonia series has arrived in the North American App Store. If you're a fan of the old school 2D Legend of Zelda games from the 1990s then you would do well to check out Zenonia 3 [iTunes Link]. We're pretty excited to slip back into our 2D adventuring boots to enjoy some grabbing some sweet magic loot and vanquish some evil(s).
Gamevil (pronounced Game-ville, not Game-evil) has also released a new trailer for the game that can be seen below. Three quarters of the video is time-lapse graffiti art, but if you're not interested in that you can just skip to the latter half for a quick glimpse of how the game actually plays. Or if that's not enough to convince you, both of the original Zenonia games (Zenonia [iTunes Link] and Zenonia 2 [iTunes Link]) have free demo versions available.
The last two games in the series were two of the best RPGs that can be found on the App Store so we're looking forward to checking out what Gamevil has in store for the next installment. Though the first two were fairly similar, so it's probably best not to get your hopes up for radical change. (Early App Store reviews also seem to indicate that Zenonia 3 is pretty similar.)
So if you're got a plane trip or a doctor's visit coming up this weekend Zenonia 3 is probably a pretty good choice for your long boring wait.
