The iPad Camera Connection Kit was not shown as one of the accessories offered as part of the pre-order ... nor is it easily found as an item on the Apple web site. It is down a bit on the "specs" page but, curiously, does not have the additional "Pre-order now" link. See: http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/
What's up with that!?!?
Also, I would like to use the iPad to 'backup' my camera's photos. Is that reasonable? Specifically, do you know (1) will the iPad store photos in full resolution, with all metadata unaltered, and (2) will I be able to get photos back off the iPad, once I'm back home?
