It makes keeping unique, complex passwords, logins and other information secure, and it works in tandem with desktop and iPhone versions to keep everything in sync. You’ll never have to worry about forgetting your super-secure, 18-character password for the office network--or even worse, use the same simple password for everything because it’s easy to remember.

In addition to things like website logins and credit card numbers, 1Password can also serve as a vault for software licenses and other sensitive or valuable information. And since everything is protected by your secure password, you can rest assured that your secrets are safely locked away in the unfortunate event that someone makes off with your iPad.

1Password is our favorite Mac password manager, and it works nearly as well on iPad as on our desktop.
