Bad Elf BE-GPS-1000 Review

This would be great for someone that doesn't have a smart phone or dedicated GPS device. If I wasn't going to get an iPhone 5c soon, I would consider this. The 130 difference between an Ipad with cell service is one part, but is a monthly fee to access a cell network is also another price point. This seems like one of those devices to wonder why someone didn't come out with it sooner.

I got one when it was new - and when I had a first generation iPad. Is there any reason to use it now? I have an iPhone 4s, and a hi res Wi-Fi only iPad. I take the iPad with me everywhere to read books - but I also take my phone with me everywhere. I think I know where my Bad Elf GPS card is.
