Stock market professionals and living room traders alike know and trust the Bloomberg brand for the latest market news and analysis, and the Bloomberg for iPad app luckily doesn't disappoint, offering a large amount of information out of the gate.
In terms of included features, Bloomberg handily tops its iPad competitors, packing up-to-date stock quotes, dozens upon dozens of available news stories, and data on worldwide currencies, commodities, and bonds. Bloomberg for iPad even includes access to loads of free podcast downloads, which offer in-depth analysis on various trends and other hot topics.

Stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities are all here for the viewing.
Most traders will likely turn to Bloomberg to follow their own investments, and it's easy to locate and save your stocks, and then view numerous charts and figures, plus news related to the company in question.

The black, white, and orange aesthetic are a bit garish at times.
Though Bloomberg is currently the most comprehensive choice around, we can't help but take issue with the black-heavy aesthetic, which can be tough on the eyes. The news stories in particular look like relics from a decade-old amateur website, plus you can't share them via e-mail or social networks.
If you can live with the black-heavy aesthetic, Bloomberg for iPad is a pretty worthwhile option for stock market junkies.
