Bluetooth Illuminated KeyBoard K810 Review

Using a Bluetooth keyboard with more than one device can be a royal pain. If both devices are on, you sometimes have to tell one to forget the keyboard exists, so it’ll be available for the other. Logitech’s Easy-Switch feature kills this problem. You can pair the K810 with three devices (say, a Mac, an iPad, and your Apple TV), then just hit a button to switch between them.
The K810 lights up, too. It’s got a pleasant backlighting that fades automatically after a few seconds of inactivity, then comes back as your hands approach the keyboard, automatically adjusting the brightness based on how dark the room is. I did find the fade-in, fade-out slightly distracting at first, but got used to it pretty quickly.
Sadly, this is a Windows keyboard, so the Alt key (aka Option) is where Command should be. A quick trip to System Preferences > Keyboard can right that wrong, but you also don’t get the iTunes forward and back keys, Mission Control, Dashboard, and display brightness. And the Fn key is in a weird spot, nestled between Command and Control, unable to be moved.
The bottom line. Switching between Bluetooth devices couldn’t be more convenient, and the backlighting is a great bonus. Hey, Logitech, please make a Mac version! EDIT: How dumb am I? (Don't answer that.) They do have a Mac version! It's called the Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard for Mac, and it's backlit just like this one. Thanks for the correction, Logitech!
Positives
Pair three things and easily switch between them. Backlighting. Long-lasting battery. Keys feel great.
Negatives
You need to reprogram the Command and Option keys. Fn key is oddly placed.
