Positives
Front-loading ink chamber. Decent print quality for low cost. iOS app allows scanning to portable device.
Negatives
Terrible Mac OS X software with no way to use Preview or Image Capture. USB or Ethernet connection requires long cables since ports are actually inside the unit. Can’t scan from printer to Mac over wireless (USB only).

Yeah, the Brother software stinks, but I have no trouble connecting to the device with Preview, Image Capture, or wireless scanning. Maybe the scanner driver has been updated since the review?
